Guidelines for the Application for Document Delivery

 

1.    Service:

1.1      The Library Document Delivery Service basically refers to the supply of photocopy of document to all staff, lecturers, students and visitors. This service is mainly for the collections, periodicals and newspaper clippings of the Main library, MCL Centre, TCM Library and Shuxianglou Room.

1.2      Requested materials are for study, teaching, or research purposes only. All applicants must comply with the Copyright Law.

2.    Application Procedures:

2.1      Before requesting materials, please check the item against the library catalogue WebOPAC (Libmis) and Online Databases to ensure that the items are available in the Library. Fill in the form at the circulation counter legibly and completely with required details.

2.2      The item requested will usually arrived within one week after the application is submitted. It may take longer time to deliver the document if the requested items are more.

3.    Charges and payment:

3.1      All charges are borne by the applicants. The Library will issue the receipt after the confirmation of the application. Applicants need to make payments before collecting the requested items.

3.2      Payment must be made either in cash or by cheque (payable to “Kolej Universiti Selatan”).

3.3      Applications for below 5 pages can be sent by Fax.
